摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing a soft candy having smooth texture and excellent in temporal stability, which includes using a sugar alcohol fine powder without using fondant. SOLUTION: The method for producing a soft candy includes the following steps: a step of dissolving a mixture of 6-O-α-D-glucopyranosyl-D-sorbitol (hereinafter referred to as [1,6-GPS]) and 1-O-α-D-glucopyranosyl-D-mannitol (hereinafter referred to as [1,1-GPM]) at a rate of (60 wt.%:40 wt.%) to (99 wt.%:1 wt.%), an amorphous carbohydrate, plant oil or fat, and an emulsifier in water; and a step of directly adding a mixture of [1,6-GPS] and [1,1-GPM] containing pulverized fine powder having an average grain diameter of 30 μm or less to the solution as a seeding agent.
