PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection circuit which discriminates a wavelength of a pulse light detected by a light receiving element, further reduces the effect of disturbance light, and has a high detection accuracy. SOLUTION: An object detection circuit 1 comprises: a light emitting element 12 which emits a pulse-modulated light; a light receiving element 13 which receives an output pulse light from the light emitting element 12 according to the presence/absence of an object to be detected; and a signal detection circuit 19 which discriminates the wavelength of the pulse light detected by the light receiving element 13.
