PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker device and a display device capable of making the front design of a cabinet look slim by suppressing an effect that the reflected light of the light made incident on a small hole of a decorative plate from outside is emitted linearly in the small hole and decreasing the presence of a speaker device. SOLUTION: The speaker device is provided with a sound emission plate 1 having a plurality of large holes 11 emitting sounds to the outside, and a decorative plate having a plurality of small holes 31 smaller than the large holes 11 and decorating one surface of the sound emission plate 1. The axial cross-sectional shape of the large hole 11 is formed in a trapezoidal shape by widening the side facing the decorative plate in a direction inclined to a central axis of the large hole 11. Consequently, the light made incident on the small hole 31 from the outside abuts on the inclined surface of the large holes 11 not to make the reflected light emitted linearly in the small hole 31.
