A lifter (1.2) comprises a rectangular region (1.2.3) for leaning against an internal surface of a laundry drum (1); at least one fastening element (1.2.3.1) disposed on said rectangular region (1.2.3) to fasten said lifter (1.2) to the drum (1); lateral surfaces (1.2.2) raised upward by a first angle from said rectangular region (1.2.3); front surfaces (1.2.1) raised upward by a second angle from the rectangular region (1.2.3), so that said lateral surfaces (1.2.2) and front surfaces (1.2.1) combine at a predetermined upper line so as to yield an essentially triangular pyramid formation. A rotatable round bar (1.2.5) is attached to said lifter (1.2) at said upper line to contact laundry passing along said lifter (1.2).
