摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for controlling a hybrid vehicle capable of making the charging state of a battery raised, and simultaneously operating an internal combustion engine, in an operating state with low fuel consumption, when the charging state of the battery supplying power to a motor is low, and vehicle speed is low. <P>SOLUTION: The hybrid vehicle 1 has a first clutch 21, capable of engaging an engine output shaft 8 and a first input shaft 27 of a first transmission mechanism 30, and a second clutch 22, capable of engaging an engine output shaft 8 and a second input shaft 28 of a second transmission mechanism 40. When the charging state of a secondary battery 120 is not higher than a determination value and vehicle speed is not higher than a determination vehicle speed, an ECU 100 operates the internal combustion engine 5, at an engine load at which the fuel consumption becomes the lowest according to an engine rotation speed, and also operates a motor 50 as a generator, by setting a value subtracting required drive torque which is required to be generated in a drive wheel 88 from an engine driven torque acted on the drive wheel 88 by a mechanical power from the engine output shaft 8 as regenerative braking torque which makes the drive wheel act as a power generator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
