<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of increasing holding force of a flat cable without increasing pressing force. <P>SOLUTION: The connector 10 includes: protrusions 212e and protrusions 212f pressed against the backside of an FPC 200 and arranged at predetermined intervals in the insertion/extraction directions of the FPC 200; and contact parts 213a pressed against the surface of the FPC 200 and arranged between the protrusions 212e and protrusions 212f in the insertion/extraction directions; and the protrusion 212e, the protrusion 212f and the contact part 213a are formed on each second contact 20F. In the connector 10, the distance between the protrusion 212e and the contact part 213, and the distance between the contact part 213a and the protrusion 212f are not smaller than the thickness of the FPC 200, and holding force can be increased by clamping the FPC 200 in a corrugated state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
