<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal-containing composition where the drive failure due to decline of the electric field intensity applied to the liquid crystal is restrained, and to provide a liquid crystal display device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal-containing composition includes a liquid crystal and a microcapsule having a wall material component made of a polyurea for enveloping the liquid crystal.
