PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a crack in a molding mold, in a vacuum molding machine for molding the skin material toward the mold surface of the mold by vacuum suction. SOLUTION: In the vacuum molding machine 10 for molding the skin material 30 toward the mold surface 14 of the mold 12 by vacuum suction, the mold 12 is formed by hardening a metallic material in the form of finer particles with a resin, and the lower surface side opposite the mold surface 14 of the mold 12 is supported by a support member 18. The support member 18 is connected with a backing member 50 set on the lower surface of the mold 12.
