PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more widely actualize the properties of a brazing filler metal layer in the method for producing a copper-containing clad sheet. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for producing a copper-containing clad sheet in which a copper-containing brazing filler metal layer X1 is formed on the face of at least either side of a planar base material Y, and the method comprises: an arrangement stage where the copper-containing powder X is arranged on the face of at least either side of the base material Y; and a heat treatment stage where the powder X arranged on the face of at least either side in the base material Y in the arrangement stage is subjected to heat treatment so as to form the brazing filler metal layer X1.
