PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing a short-circulation of ore in a trommel when crushing and classifying with a wetting method by charging oxidized nickel ore into a drum-washer constituted by connecting the drum and the trommel, in an ore-treating process for preparing charged raw material from raw ore of the oxidized nickel ore after digging out to a smelting. SOLUTION: Projections which have almost rectangular-shape in the cross-sectional shape on the circumference of a circle, on the same circumference in the vertical sectional surface to the trommel rotating shaft in the inner surface of the trommel and satisfy the following (1) and (2) conditions, are formed as the projection line, disposed so as to satisfy the following (3) condition. (1) The horizontal width of the projection is the length as the same degree as opening of the trommel. (2) The height of the projection in the length as about half degree as the opening of the trommel.
