PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing slag, with which flexible removal of the slag corresponding to the state of slag distribution and changes of vessels into which charging molten metal is charged. SOLUTION: The apparatus 40 for removing the slag includes: a slag collecting part 50 for scooping up the slag 2 on the molten metal 1; a slag collecting part turning device 60 for turning the slag collecting part 50 as shown in an arrow 20; and a slag collecting part vertically/horizontally shifting mechanism (6-9, 60) for moving the slag collecting part in the horizontal direction and in the perpendicular direction.
