PROXY CALL SESSION CONTROL FUNCTION MALFUNCTION PROCESSING METHOD

A proxy call session control function malfunction processing method applied in an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) network, comprises that a main and a spare proxy call session control function (P-CSCF) are configured for a user equipment (UE) with an IP multimedia subsystem network; the main and the spare P-CSCF information are stored by the UE and a serving call session control function (S-CSCF); when the S-CSCF transmits a service request to the UE using the main P-CSCF, if the main P-CSCF is in malfunction, the S-CSCF transmits the command indicating the UE to make an initial register to the UE using the main or the spare P-CSCF; the UE transmits an initial register request to the P-CSCF; the S-CSCF transmits the service request to the UE with the P-CSCF.
