<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic air pressure adjustment tire with a simple constitution capable of automatically adjusting the air pressure in the tire utilizing rotation action of the tire during traveling of the vehicle without substantially changing the structure of a wheel. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic air pressure adjustment tire is provided in a tire 1 which includes a tread part 2 and side parts 31, 32 formed at both sides of the tread part 2 to automatically adjust the air pressure in the tire 1, and includes a cylinder device 5 provided between the side parts 31, 32 in the tire 1 and operated expansion/contraction action between the side parts 31, 32 during traveling to fill air in the tire 1. The cylinder device 5 includes a cylinder 6 mounted to one of the side parts 31, 32; a piston 8 connected to a piston rod 7 mounted to the other of the side parts 31, 32; an air pouring valve 10 provided on the cylinder 6; and an air discharge valve 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
