PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve route guidance that conforms to an actual travel situation, without imparting a sense of incongruity. SOLUTION: A three-dimensional road network and guidance line shape data that are used for route guidance are provided, in addition to a two-dimensional road network for a route search, in a route guidance device. The guidance line shape data is data for displaying a three-dimensional guidance that guides a vehicle according to a situation of travel in a straight line, turning to the right or the left at an intersection or guides the vehicle to make a lane change, before the vehicle enters into the intersection. A link node of the two-dimensional road network is associated with the guidance line shape data via the three dimensional road network. The route search is performed by using the two-dimensional road network.
