PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance convenience of a user in regard to a route guiding technique. SOLUTION: This route guiding system is equipped with a route information setting means, a present location acquiring means, a disturbing event preestimating means and a disturbance suppressing event presenting means. The route information setting means sets the route information which indicates a route from a starting place to a destination. The present location acquiring means acquires present location information which indicates the present location of the user. The disturbing event preestimating means preestimates, by using the present location information, that an event to disturb the advance of the user on the route occurs in a part of the route, before the user goes through this part. The disturbance suppressing event presenting means presents to the user a disturbance suppressing event which suppresses the effect of the disturbing event on the user by shifting the time when the user is to go through that part of the route, in the case when the disturbing event is preestimated.
