PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for serving vehicular information using a car navigation, capable of calculating an expected cost required for reaching a destination by calculating a fuel cost in addition to a highway toll required for reaching the destination. SOLUTION: The system for serving vehicular information uses a car navigation unit 100 which is respectively connected to a vehicular data server 108 equipped with a vehicle database 109 storing vehicular information, and to a POS system 112 installed in a gas station, so as to be able to communicate with them. The car navigation unit 100 includes a means for calculating the expected cost required for a searched route from the highway toll acquired by a route searching means, an expected mileage, an average fuel cost being previously calculated, and a fuel consumption rate obtained by requesting a search to the vehicular data server 108.
