PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safeguard device which has a simple structure, so that conveying and carrying to a site and assembling work can be easily and quickly carried out, is simple in structure and light in weight but rigidly resists against a collapsing load to effectively guard an inside evacuee from earthquake, and achieves low cost by simplifying its structure. SOLUTION: The safeguard device has a main guard frame, comprising a member whose support portion and top panel portion are bent in an L-shape, as a collapse-resistant frame. A plurality of the main guard frames are combined so that their top panel portions are gathered toward the center of a ceiling surface, thereby the inside of these main guard frames forms a refuge from collapse.
