PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus in which sizes of a display and an operation switch are ensured while downsizing and thinning of a case is attained at the same time, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: The display 15 includes a liquid crystal panel 14 and cover member 16. The liquid crystal panel 14 and cover member 16 are stuck together so as to form a step around the circumferential portion of the display 15. A step 22A is formed around an edge of a first opening 22. The step 22A is engaged with the step of the circumferential portion of the cover member 16. The display 15 is fixed on the step 22A using e.g. a duplex adhesive tape or adhesive. Whereby, the display 15 is fitted to be held inside the first opening 22. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
