PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the inspection method of a disk-like mold structure. SOLUTION: The inspection method of the disk-like mold structure having a disk-like substrate, a rugged pattern for a servo region formed on the surface of the substrate on the basis of a desired designed pattern and disposed in the radial direction of the substrate and a rugged pattern for a data region disposed in the peripheral direction between rugged patterns for servo information includes a magnetic transfer step (S1) for magnetically transferring a magnetic signal corresponding to the rugged pattern for the servo region of the disk-like mold structure to a perpendicular magnetic recording medium, a reproducing signal acquiring step (S2) for acquiring a reproducing signal by electrically reproducing the magnetic signal from the perpendicular magnetic recording medium and evaluation steps (S3 and S4) for evaluating performance of the disk-like mold structure on the basis of the reproducing signal.
