PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "vehicle driving support device" for predicting the rapid route change of a traveling object, and for preliminarily preventing the collision with a self-vehicle. SOLUTION: A vehicle driving support device is provided with: an image pickup means; an information providing means; an image recognition means for detecting a plurality of objects ahead of a vehicle from the pickup image; and a control means. The control means detects the change of a distance between two objects positioned backward and forward including a traveling object on a sidewalk adjacent to a traveling line on which a vehicle is traveling among a plurality of objects detected by the image recognition means, and predicts the traveling direction of the traveling object, and when deciding that there is any risk that the vehicle may collide with the traveling object, notifies a driver of the result through the information providing means (S23). When one of two objects is a standstill object and the other is a traveling object, the control means predicts that the traveling object may change its route to the traveling lane side of the vehicle when a distance between the traveling object and the standstill object becomes a prescribed distance (S21) while the vehicle is traveling.
