PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic transistor which is highly stable in the atmosphere. SOLUTION: The organic transistor includes a gate electrode, a source electrode, a drain electrode, and an organic semiconductor layer. The organic semiconductor layer contains a compound expressed by a formula (1), wherein: Ar1, Ar2, Ar3and Ar4represent aryl groups which may independently include a substituent group or univalent heterocyclic groups which may independently include a substituent group; R1and R2represent aryl groups which may independently include hydrogen atoms, an alkyl group, a substituent silyl group, and a substituent group or univalent heterocyclic groups which may independently include a substituent group; n is an integer of 1 to 5.
