A method for preparing mussel soup is provided to enable the prepared mussel soup to be added to various foods so as to show the taste of mussel. A method for preparing mussel soup comprises the following steps of: washing mussels with clean water(S10); dipping the mussels with their shells in clean freshwater for 3-5 hours to remove sea water included in the mussels; boiling the mussels with their shells in water and red pepper for 2-5 hours(S20); filtering the obtained mussel soup at least twice(S30); removing the hairs of the mussels and washing them with clean freshwater(S40); putting the mussels in a pot and boiling them at 100‹C or higher to separate the mussel flesh(S50); washing and sterilizing the mussel flesh with the mussel soup; and vacuum-packaging the mussel flesh and mussel soup(S60).
