A liquid crystal display preventing a moment after image is provided to form side visibility by driving two sub pixels by different thin film transistors and prevent a moment after image. A gate wire is formed on a first insulating substrate. A data wire is formed in order to intersect with the gate wiring. A thin film transistor is connected to the gate wiring and data line. A pixel electrode(82) is connected to the thin film transistor. The pixel electrode has the first incision pattern. The second insulating substrate is positioned correspondingly to the first insulating substrate. The common electrode is formed on the second insulating substrate. The common electrode has the second incision pattern.
