A puppet toy is provided, which can suppress entanglement of the line and the drive machine while maintaining the good outer shape and can loosen the entanglement easily. A puppet toy comprises: a container(1) for receiving a puppet; a separable cover(2) installed at the entrance of container; a body(3) received to the inside of container; a head(4) combined with the top of the body; a right hand(5) combined with the right side of the body through the right arm; a left side hand(6) combined with the left side of the body through the left arm; and right foot(7) and left foot(8) which are respectively combined with the right side and left bottom part of the body.
