<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which enhances a processing speed of image formation by setting a limit value corresponding to an inputted designated paper size for each printing job, and omitting a rasterization process, and to provide an image formation method and an image formation program. <P>SOLUTION: The printing job includes the designated paper size which designates a paper size for plotting characters. A current limit value storage means 112 is set, in which current limit values are stored beforehand correspondingly to a plurality of paper sizes. When the printing job is inputted, a character drawing data conversion means 107 extracts and sets the corresponding current limit value from the current limit value storage means 112 on the basis of the designated paper size.
