<p>A high-strength steel sheet for cans which has a tensile strength of 550 to 650MPa and a total elongation of 5% or above is obtained by conducting hot rolling with a finishing temperature of the Ar3 transformation temperature or above, cold rolling, and then recovery annealing at a temperature of the recrystallization initiation temperature minus 200‹C to the recrystallization initiation temperature minus 20‹C. Further, the addition of Nb: 0.001 to 0.05% and/or B: 0.0001 to 0.005% brings about a steel sheet for cans which has a tensile strength of 550 to 700MPa and a total elongation of 4% or above while enabling the annealing in the same temperature range as that of conventional steel sheets for cans. ® KIPO & WIPO 2009</p> |
