摘要 A passive optical subscriber network capable of controlling a wavelength and a wavelength control method thereof are provided to determine the optical wavelength of an optical network unit automatically, and generate a stable and accurate wavelength regardless of the reflection of light. The wavelength of an ONU(Optical Network Unit) is designated(s10). An uplink optical signal is received, the intensity of wavelength of the received uplink optical signal is compared with the intensity of the output light of a wavelength locker by the received uplink optical signal, and then a wavelength control signal is produced(s20). The wavelength control signal is modulated, and then a downlink optical signal having the wavelength control information is transmitted by using the sub-carrier transmitting method(s30). The wavelength control signal is obtained by demodulating the received downlink optical signal and the wavelength of the ONU is controlled by the wavelength control signal(s40).
