A tree box filter system for reducing pollution of a road is provided to remove nonpoint pollution effectively in initial rain, and to filter the nonpoint pollution through space formed between road side tree spaces. A tree box filter system for reducing pollution of a road includes a tree box(10A) having a plant space(10a) reclaimed to a roadside. An inlet hole(11) is formed on a side wall of the tree box. A filtering layer is formed to filter nonpoint pollution. A road filtering layer is formed to discharge water filtered by the filtering layer. The road filtering layer is made by laminating soil, sand, Geonet and waste wood or crushed stone successively, and includes a wood chip pack consisting of a net having a wood chip.
