摘要 A robot equipped with detachable arms is provided to prevent short-circuit by cutting off the power of external terminal of the robot body when the arms are separated from the robot body. A robot(100) comprises a body(300) with a body joint on the side and arms(400) having arm joints to be attached to the body. The arms rotate to the front and back, and are separated from the body when subject to a force of direction going away from the body side. The body includes a separation detecting part sensing arms' separation, and a power cut-off part cutting off the power of a body contact terminal of the body joint when arms' separation is detected.
