ENHANCED PROMOTER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING L-LYSINE USING THE SAME

A method for producing a L-lysine using a promoter having improved activity and operatively connected to a gene encoding diaminopimelate dehydrogenase(ddh) is provided to increase enzyme activity of diaminopimelate dehydrogenase and enhance lysine production efficiency of a strain. A nucleic acid molecule having improved promoter activity is operatively connected to a gene which encodes a diaminopimelate dehydrogenase and has a nucleotide of the sequence number 2(SEQ ID NO:2). A pDZ-ddhP1 vector is the nucleic acid molecule. A transformant of the deposit number KCCM10920P is obtained by transforming with pDZ-ddhP1. The transformant is Corynebacterium sp. or Brevibacterium sp.
