<p>A torque transmission system (20) for an aircraft engine (10) permits a starter-generator (23) to drive the engine (10) on starting at a speed reducing ratio. Once the engine (10) is running, the engine (10) then drives the starter-generator (23) also at a speed reducing ratio. A method of providing a constant speed reduction between two rotating shafts in an aircraft engine is also disclosed.</p> |
