PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary cell which surely protects the deformation of a cell can due to the generation of inside gas seven when over charged. SOLUTION: The nonaqueous secondary cell comprises a positive electrode 11, a negative electrode 12, a cell can 13, and a nonaqueous electrolyte 14 filled in the cell can 13. The cell can 13 has a covering layer 2 composed of reductive reaction restraining material 21 containing one or more kind of atoms selected from Zn, Sn, Sb, Bi, Pb, and In, at the part where the cell can is containing with the electrolyte 14. |
