<p>The device has a die co-operating with opposed selector rollers traversing a reception plate (36) receiving a stack of mailpieces, to select the mailpieces one-by-one and transport the mailpieces towards downstream. The die has a preset inclination of angle with respect to a horizontal plane defined by the plate, where distance between a lower end part of the die and the plate is larger at a die portion close to an aligning wall (34) than a die portion remote from the wall. Selection fingers (18A, 18B) are placed at ends of teeth of a comb (18) in the die. The fingers are covered with a wear resistant material e.g. ceramic or carbide, and the comb is fixed to a die body that is made of plastic material.</p> |
