ELECTRODE SUPPORTS AND MONOLITH TYPE UNIT CELLS FOR SOLID OXIDE FUEL CELLS AND THEIR MANUFACTURING METHODS

Electrode supports and monolith type unit cells for solid oxide fuel cells are provided to ensure structurally stable, to make large-size material, and to prevent the generation of gas seal. A unit cell for a solid oxide fuel cell comprises a porous flat tube type supporter consisting of conductive materials; a first gas flow channel portion(6) where at least one flow path is formed inside of the supporter; a second gas flow channel portion(16,17) where opposite pole gas flow path is formed at the reaction surface of outer center part of the upper plate and lower plate; a first electrode layer coated on the whole outer surface of the supporter; electrolyte coated on the whole surface excluding protrusions between the second gas channels of the upper plate of the supporter; an electrical connection layer coated on protrusions between the second gas channels of the upper plate of the supporter; and a second electrode layer which certainly includes the lower plate among outer reaction surfaces of the supporter and coated to prevent contact with the electrical connection layer.
