<p>Preparing 4-amino-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine, comprises reacting 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-4-one with ammonia and hydrogen, in the presence of nickel catalysts or cobalt catalysts and water, where the main reaction is carried out at a pressure of maximum of 50 bar and at a temperature of 120[deg] C for the conversion of at least 80% of the 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin-4-one; and subsequently an additional reaction is carried out in a higher temperature and in a higher pressure in comparison with the pressure and temperature of the main reaction.</p> |
