A magnetic chuck having a vacuum chuck function is provided to clamp a nonferrous metal workpiece, which is not fixed by the magnetic force, using vacuum suction. A magnetic chuck(100) having a vacuum chuck function comprises supporting projections(140), vacuum grooves(150), vacuum holes(160), a vacuum housing(200), a vacuum generator, pressure and vacuum gauges(400,500), a filter, a housing cover, and a filter cover(800). The supporting protrusions and the vacuum grooves are arranged in lattice form on one side of the magnetic chuck. The vacuum hole has a vacuum passage. The vacuum housing has a vacuum space connected to the vacuum passage. The vacuum generator is connected to an entrance(220) and an exit of the vacuum housing. The filter is mounted on a center filter socket(250) of the vacuum housing. The housing cover is airtightly connected to the back side of the vacuum housing. The filter cover is airtightly connected to the front side of the filter socket.
