An image transmitting system, an image memorizing apparatus and an image data transmitting method are provided to distinguish between image data to be transmitted and image data to be printed. A digital camera(10) memorizes a plurality of image data, printing request data and transmission request data, and then determines whether a connected destination is a printing device(60) or PC(40). If the connected destination is the printing device, the digital camera transmits image data corresponding to the printing request information to a printer. If the connected destination is the PC, the digital camera transmits image data corresponding to the transmission request data to the PC.
