METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE AIR MIX DOOR OF AIR CONDITIONER FOR A VEHICLE

A method for controlling an air mix door of an air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to drive an FATC(Full Automatic Temperature Control System) nearly to the temperature which is set up by a user in case a duct sensor and a blower do not operate normally by removing the error of the opening degree of the AMD(Air Mix Door). A method for controlling an air mix door of an air conditioner for a vehicle comprise following steps. In case the sensing value of a duct sensor for the measurement of the inner temperature of the air conditioning system deviates from a normal range, the off state of a blower is confirmed(S17). In case of the off state of the blower, the inner temperature of a duct is presumed based on inner and outer air, quantity of solar radiation, and preset temperature. The opening degree of the AMD is controlled closely to the object temperature based on the presumed inner temperature of the duct(S23).
