The channel producing process for a supply line channel running alongside an existing or yet to be laid rail track involves laying channel beams (14) for the supply line on top of a substrate using a digger and other wagons in a train. Channel beam covers are available for laying after the supply line. The channel digger can run on the soil, the other wagons in the train run on the rail track.
