The device has a base module (1) with a total power input and output (7, 5) for a total power forwarded from a strand module (2). A data input (8) is provided for data determined by evaluation devices of the module (2). A central evaluation device process and transmits the data to a control-and regulating device. Power outputs (11) of the module (2) are connected with each other over a power collecting bridge that is attached to the total power input. Data outputs (9) of the module (2) are connected with one another over a data collecting bridge that is attached at the data input.
