The device (2) for removing dirt particles from an airflow, has an air guide channel (14), a filter insert (6), a rotary fan impeller (4) with fan blades (10) arranged in the direction of air flow in front of the filter insert and an opening (16) arranged in a wall (12) of the air guide channel adjacent to the outer circumference of the filter insert. A portion of the airflow and dirt particles leave from the air flow channel before the section of the filter insert. A displaceable flat covering part is arranged before the fan impeller in the flow direction of the air flow. |
