Centring of a part inside a shaft

The device has rods (66) interposed between a tube (42) and a hollow shaft (26). The rods comprise a support pad (68) on an internal surface (40) of the shaft. The support pad is separated from the internal surface of the shaft to allow displacement of the support pad inside the shaft. The rods are made of a shape memory material e.g. copper aluminum nickel alloy, for being deformed to apply the support pad on the internal surface or to separate the support pad when the material is subjected to preset temperature.
