APPARATUS FOR SENSING TEMPERATURE OF AN INKJET HEAD

A temperature sensing apparatus of an ink-jet head is provided to convert the result of a temperature sensor into frequency by using a voltage controlled oscillator. A temperature sensing apparatus of an ink-jet head comprises one or more CMOS lateral BJTs(200) and a current supply unit(100). One or more CMOS lateral BJTs sense the temperature of an ink-jet head. The current supply unit supplies the current to the CMOS lateral BJT. One or more CMOS lateral BJTs are connected to be parallel. One or more CMOS lateral BJTs are serially connected. One or more CMOS lateral BJTs are arranged to be adjacent to a feed hole of the ink-jet head. One or more CMOS lateral BJTs comprise a voltage controlled oscillator(300). The voltage controlled oscillator converts voltage outputted according to temperature change into frequency signals and outputs the frequency signals. The ink-jet head is a wide array head.
