<p>A quantity regulation valve for controlling liquids in which a valve member can be moved by an electromagnet, permitting different through flow cross sections to be set so that a high pressure pump that is supplied with fuel via the quantity regulation valve can feed a variable quantity of high pressure fuel. At the same time, the valve member of the quantity regulation valve is equipped with a sealing face that cooperates with a valve seat for the purpose of absolutely preventing the high pressure fuel delivery.</p> |
