A pumping motor assembly for a washing machine is provided to prevent the loss of the grease covered on a connecting part of a bearing and an axis of rotation using a packing surrounding the inner circumference of a bearing support. A pumping motor assembly for a washing machine comprises an impeller(40), a bearing support assembly(100), an axis of rotation(20), a rotor(30), and a chamber(50). The bearing support assembly comprises a bearing(120), a bearing support(140), a sealing(160), and a packing(180). The bearing rotates while supporting the axis of rotation. The bearing support supports the bearing. The sealing is inserted between the bearing and the bearing support to prevent the water passing into the rotor. The packing surrounds the inner circumference of the bearing support and the bearing. The packing prevents the grease(G) coated on the bearing from flying. The packing comprises a lid part(184) and an O-ring part(182). The lid part has a through hole, passing through the axis of rotation, on the center. The O-ring part connects the outer circumference of the lid part. |
