PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch an electric vehicle, having right and left crawlers being driven by each motor, quickly and smoothly from turning traveling to straight traveling. SOLUTION: The electric vehicle 10 drives right and left crawler belts 23R and 23L by right and left motors 33R and 33L, respectively, and provided with a control section 56 of the motors. The control section has a turning inside motor acceleration step performing acceleration control of the turning inside motor by an acceleration control signal output increasing gradually from the point when switching is made from turning traveling to straight traveling. If a condition that the speed of the turning inside motor is in a low speed region not exceeding a predetermined lowest reference speed is satisfied at the point when switching is made from turning traveling to straight traveling, the turning inside motor acceleration step performs acceleration control of the turning inside motor by an acceleration control signal output increased temporarily only at the point when switching is made to straight traveling.
