Method and device for detecting boundary areas in soil layers

The method involves positioning multiple oblong reflection elements in a section of boundary surface, and positioned oblong reflection elements are detected. The emitted electromagnetic radiation has a linear polarized wave portion, where polarization plane (41) of the linear polarized wave portion is aligned so that the longitudinal extension direction of each reflection element lies parallel to the plane, in which the E-wave of linearly polarized wave portion oscillates. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a measuring vehicle for detecting a boundary surface between two support layers in roadway; and (2) a system for detection of a boundary surface between two support layers in roadway, particularly road or rail lane.
