A non-aqueous electrolyte battery is provided to obtain high input-output density and excellent cycleability even though a negative electrode is highly charged. A non-aqueous electrolyte battery comprises a positive electrode(21); a negative electrode(22) installed with a negative electrode active material layer on a current collector; and non-aqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode active material layer includes a binder containing polyvinylidene-fluoride and nanoceramic particles with a first particle size of 100 nm or less. The binder and nano ceramic particles are compounded.
