METHOD FOR ANALYSIS OF HEPATITIS B VIRUS S ANTIGEN

The object is to measure the amount of a HBs antigen more accurately in a sample which might be determined to contain a HBs antigen in an amount smaller than the actual amount by a conventional HBs antigen analysis method or a sample which might be determined as being false-negative. Disclosed is a HBs antigen analysis method, which is characterized by using at least one internal capture probe capable of binding to a first internal domain peptide composed of amino acid residues laying between position-26 and position-80 of a hepatitis B virus s antigen and at least one external capture probe capable of binding to a second external domain peptide composed of amino acid residues laying between position-98 and position-156 of the hepatitis B virus s antigen as capture probes and at least one internal detection probe capable of binding to the first internal domain peptide and at least one external detection probe capable of binding to the second external domain peptide as detection probes. ® KIPO & WIPO 2009
