The invention relates to a roller for a conveyor, comprising a hollow- cylindrical roll body and an axle shaft mounted in at least two bearings, wherein the at leas t two bearings are each arranged in a bearing seat, and wherein, for the purpose o f forming the bearing seats, both ends of a wall associated with the cylindrical roll body are reshaped axially inwards by flow-rolling, and wherein a thickness associated with the wall increases in the region of the bearing seats.
